Tipton County schools offer the perfect environment to ensure your children get the high-quality education they need to compete in today’s competitive world.
With excellent facilities throughout the county, you have the opportunity to find the perfect neighborhood with a school that best fits your needs. We also have the two newest schools in the Memphis region under construction in Covington that will open in the fall of 2025.
We have invested significant funding to improve safety on every campus, provided teachers and staff competitive pay raises for seven consecutive years and provided technology devices to every student and teacher in the district.

Technical Training
Our high schools offer advanced Career and Technical Training (CTE) programs to prepare our students for the advanced manufacturing jobs of the future.
We have invested in College and Career Counselors in each school for students to explore post-secondary options and pathways. We also have recently allocated over $1.4 million to enhance our CTE programs.
Eighth graders in Tipton County can select a career path before they enter high school and can graduate with the credentials they need for a high-paying job without debt. Plus, each March we host an 8th grade career expo where 70 area companies are on hand to expose our students to nearly 20 different career paths.

Private Schools
Tipton County offers private school options for families seeking that type of environment.
Tipton-Rosemark Academy offers education from two-year-old PK through 12th grade, allowing parents to keep their child in the same institution from the very beginning of their education to the end of high school.
Tipton Christian Academy (TCA) is the only private school located wholly within Tipton County and provides education from preschool through high school. Sharing a campus with First Baptist Church of Covington, TCA follows a mission statement to provide its students with a comprehensive Christian education.
There are also more than 55 private and parochial schools just a short drive away in Memphis with an enrollment of over 11,000 students to expand your options.
